Above the town, on a sandstone ridge, stands the symbol of Nuremberg. The Kaiserburg served as the residence of emperors in the Middle Ages, from here they carried out their government business. In the New Museum in Nuremberg, which already impresses with its architecture, you can admire modern art since the 1960s. In the collection "Design" you can experience design since 1945. The topics in this area are a tribute to Ettore Sottsas, the principle Readymade, Freischwinger, young designers and the Italian photographer Gabriele Basilico.
